Job Description:
Job Summary
Responsible for supporting software applications, computer hardware, and network equipment. Serves as a liaison between the Information Technology Department, medical staff, and other departments. Troubleshoots technical issues and ensures reliable system performance. Collaborates with team members to implement technology solutions and optimize workflows.
Essential Functions
• Provides advanced support for system users, application coordinators, and vendors during testing and installation of hardware, software, and network equipment.
• Coordinates installation, updates, troubleshooting, and maintenance of desktop, client, and network systems.
• Monitors and maintains information system components to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborates with team members to maximize systems utilization and data access.
• Coordinates technical issue resolution between IT staff and system vendors.
• Schedules and performs system downtime to minimize service interruptions.
• Ensures system backups are performed and stored securely.
• Participates in the development and implementation of disaster recovery processes.
• Participates in help desk and on-call activities, analyzing support trends for improvement.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Requirement
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
Experience Requirement
2+ years of experience in computer science, information systems, or a relevant area
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
All experience must be paid and in the same related field.
Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week.
