Overview

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Corporate Vice President of Revenue Cycle has system-level responsibility for strategic planning and execution, ongoing process improvement and optimization of revenue cycle operations management systemwide. Analyzes revenue cycle metrics and provides regular reports to senior leadership on financial performance, trends, and areas for improvement and effectively implements financial improvement strategies. Maintains a high-level expertise of healthcare finance, government and commercial reimbursement programs, managed care as well as state and local reimbursement programs. The VP of Revenue Cycle collaborates with all levels of the health system, including financial leaders, executive management, local RCM leaders as well as offshore resources and vendors to ensure financial and operational goals are met within a cost-effective, efficient manner.

Please note: this executive leadership role is required at our HQ when not traveling. Remote work is not available for this role. Travel is required of this role.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree Required in Finance, Business, or a related field. 2. Minimum of ten (10) years of end-to-end hospital revenue cycle management experience within a multi-state, multi-hospital health system or supporting large, complex health system client(s) on behalf of a revenue cycle management firm.3. Minimum of seven (7) years of experience within a system-level leadership capacity, including demonstrated success in leading revenue cycle operations of multiple regional centralized business offices (CBO), or working with large revenue cycle organizations with offshore operations (R1 RCM Conifer, Parallon, etc.)4. Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.6. Must have in-depth knowledge and experience working with EPIC, Meditech, and Change Healthcare products. 7. Ability to travel is required.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $300,000.00 to $400,000.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
