We're seeking a Senior Project Engineer with experience in heavy civil, water, or wastewater construction who thrives in a fast-paced project environment. In this role, you'll serve as a key technical resource for the project team, overseeing project administration, contract management, procurement, cost control, scheduling, and document management to help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract administration activities.
  • Review plans, specifications, and owner contracts to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Coordinate procurement efforts, vendor pricing, subcontract negotiations, and material deliveries.
  • Support budget management, owner billings, cost tracking, and schedule updates.
  • Collaborate with field teams, owners, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve project challenges.
  • Help drive project safety, quality, and schedule performance.
  • Mentor and support Project Engineers, Office Engineers, and interns.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of construction project engineering experience, preferably in water/wastewater infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of contract management, procurement, scheduling, and cost control.
