Job description

Keeley Construction is looking for Estimating Interns to join our Operations Groups in Summer 2027.
Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist Vice Presidents, Project Managers, and Project Engineers in the preparation of cost estimates for multiple construction projects.
  • Communicate with subcontractors to gather and analyze bids, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing.
  • Review and update project timelines, integrating estimates with overall project schedules.
  • Attend and contribute to project meetings, providing insights on cost implications and budget considerations.
  • Responsible for completing assigned estimating tasks and projects efficiently and accurately.
  • Learn and strictly adhere to safety standards and policies during the estimating process.
  • Uphold and promote Keeley's mission, vision, and values.

Minimum Qualifications

  • In the process of obtaining a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Intuitive listener with high aptitude for learning.
  • Results oriented and organized multi-tasker.
  • Problem solver with innovative ideas.
  • Self-starter and not afraid to ask questions.
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills.
  • Desire to learn multiple tasks.
