An Internship in Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) is a temporary position where students or recent graduates gain hands-on experience analyzing and quantifying risks associated with complex systems, often in industries like nuclear energy, aerospace, or engineering. Interns typically assist in developing mathematical models, performing simulations, and interpreting data to identify potential hazards and their likelihood. You may also help prepare reports or presentations that communicate risk findings to other teams. Collaboration with engineers, data scientists, and subject matter experts is common, as risk assessment often draws on diverse expertise to ensure accurate modeling and interpretation.
