Job description

UNIVERSAL Technologies, LLC is seeking multiple experienced Project Managers for a hybrid position in Brooklyn, NY to support enterprise project governance, planning, and delivery activities within a large-scale Legacy Replacement Program. Active LinkedIn preferred. This role is responsible for managing project change control, risk and issue management, integrated scheduling, resource planning, executive reporting, vendor coordination, and governance activities while supporting successful delivery across multiple business and technology workstreams.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of experience on enterprise level software development, system projects involving multiple workstreams.

***3 days on site in Brooklyn, NY is required.

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• PMP Certification required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on project management experience supporting enterprise technology or transformation initiatives.
• Proven experience managing project change control processes, including scope management, impact analysis, change tracking, and governance coordination.
• Strong experience managing project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and mitigation activities within complex delivery environments.
• Demonstrated experience preparing executive-level project status reports, dashboards, metrics, and governance communications.
• Experience developing and maintaining integrated project schedules and milestone tracking plans.
• Experience coordinating project resource planning, forecasting, staffing activities, and resource utilization management.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional business and technology stakeholders without direct authority.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle management and SDLC methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid delivery approaches.
• Experience facilitating project meetings, governance reviews, stakeholder working sessions, and executive presentations.
• Experience managing integrated RAID logs and governance reporting processes.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and priorities within a fast-paced enterprise environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong stakeholder management capabilities.
• Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven with strong follow-through capabilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Experience supporting Enterprise PMOs (EPMO) or large-scale transformation programs preferred.
• Experience supporting public sector, pension, retirement, or government technology initiatives preferred.
• Experience working with system integrators and large consulting vendors preferred.
• Experience supporting large-scale legacy modernization or replacement programs preferred.
• Familiarity with financial tracking, forecasting, resource budgeting, and staffing processes preferred.
• Experience supporting integrated master schedules and enterprise delivery planning preferred.
• Scrum Master certification and/or Agile project delivery experience preferred.
• Experience supporting multi-release or phased deployment programs preferred.
• Familiarity with organizational change management and operational transition planning preferred.
• Experience supporting executive Steering Committees and governance forums preferred.
• Knowledge of enterprise testing, deployment, and operational readiness activities preferred.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

• Coordinate project governance activities, including status reporting, issue escalation, risk management, and dependency tracking.
• Manage and maintain project RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) and facilitate mitigation and resolution activities.
• Support project change control processes, including scope management, impact assessments, change tracking, and governance coordination.
• Coordinate integrated schedule activities across business, technology, vendor, and implementation teams.
• Partner with finance and leadership teams to support project resource planning, forecasting, and staffing coordination activities.
• Track resource allocation, utilization, onboarding coordination, and project staffing requirements.
• Prepare and deliver executive project status reports, dashboards, metrics, and governance updates.
• Monitor project progress against scope, schedule, budget, and delivery objectives.
• Escalate project risks, issues, delays, and resource constraints as appropriate.
• Coordinate vendor activities and track delivery commitments, dependencies, and action items.
• Ensure adherence to EPMO governance standards, reporting requirements, and delivery methodologies.
• Support integrated planning activities across detailed design, development, testing, deployment, and transition phases.
• Assist with executive communications, project presentations, and governance materials.
• Promote proactive risk management, delivery transparency, and accountability across project teams.
• Provide hands-on project coordination and delivery support as needed to maintain program momentum.
• Work a minimum of 40 hours per week while supporting program delivery objectives.
