About the Role

Are you a recent graduate looking to launch your engineering or design career? As a Designer, you'll work alongside experienced designers and engineers to help create heat tracing system design packages for industrial projects. This is an excellent opportunity to build technical skills, gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD, and learn industry best practices in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

You'll receive guidance and mentorship from senior team members while developing the skills needed to become a successful design professional. 

What You'll Do

  • Create and update design documents such as heat tracing isometrics, panel schedules, material lists, and location plans using AutoCAD.
  • Assist with designing heat tracing systems based on customer requirements and project specifications.
  • Review project documents, including P&IDs and piping drawings, to understand project scope and design needs.
  • Support the preparation and revision of technical drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Follow established design standards, processes, and quality requirements.
  • Maintain organized project files and ensure documentation is properly controlled and stored.
  • Participate in design reviews and learn from feedback provided by experienced team members.
  • Contribute ideas to improve design processes and team efficiency.
  • Collaborate with designers, engineers, and project teams to deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

Required

  • Internship, co-op, academic project, or hands-on experience related to engineering design, CAD drafting, piping systems, or industrial processes.
  • Exposure to AutoCAD or similar design software.
  • Interest in industrial design, electrical systems, or process industries.
