Job description

The Practice Manager III provides operational leadership, daily oversight, and administrative management for assigned physician practice locations. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient practice operations, high-quality patient experiences, financial stewardship, staff engagement, and compliance with organizational standards. The Practice Manager III models positive leadership behaviors, promotes team collaboration, and supports departmental and organizational goals, and is typically responsible for managing physician practices consisting of up to eight providers.


- Require a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field. Relevant leadership experience may be considered in lieu of the degree on a year-for-year basis.
- Require a minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience with at least two (2) years within a healthcare management environment.


- Prefer American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE) certification.
- Prefer demonstrated ability in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to analyze problems and consistently follow through to solution.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment and provide decision-making expertise.
- Prefer demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills at all levels.
- Prefer demonstrated leadership skills and understanding of group processes, teamwork, and cost center-based management.
- Prefer knowledge of physician practice operations and third-party payer requirements.
