Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Junior Electrical Engineer / Electrical Designer to join our growing engineering team in Tampa, FL. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with 0-4 years of experience who are eager to gain hands-on design and engineering exposure in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and development of electrical systems, layouts, and schematics.
  • Prepare electrical drawings, calculations, and technical documentation.
  • Support senior engineers in project planning, design coordination, and execution.
  • Perform load calculations, circuit design, and equipment selection.
  • Conduct site visits and field verifications as required.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, civil, and architectural groups.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 0-4 years of relevant experience (internship/co-op experience accepted).
  • Strong understanding of electrical design principles and codes.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
  • Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in power systems, lighting design, and low-voltage systems.
  • Exposure to commercial, industrial, or construction projects.
  • EIT certification (or willingness to obtain).
