These skills and qualifications are crucial for identifying vulnerabilities, collaborating with technical teams, and supporting the secure operation of critical infrastructure environments.

What is an OT Security Internship?

An OT (Operational Technology) Security Internship is an entry-level position where students or recent graduates gain practical experience in protecting industrial control systems and critical infrastructure from cyber threats. Interns typically assist with monitoring, analyzing, and improving the security of OT environments, which include equipment and networks used in manufacturing, energy, and other industrial sectors. The role provides hands-on exposure to cybersecurity practices, risk assessments, and compliance within operational technology settings. It is ideal for individuals interested in both cybersecurity and the industrial sector. Interns may also work on real-world projects under the guidance of experienced security professionals.
