This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Development Data & Biological Assessment Specialist based in Netherlands.

This role offers an opportunity to combine biological science, data management, and digital innovation within global agricultural product development.
You will help ensure biological development data is accurate, accessible, reliable, and ready to support critical decisions.
The position spans data quality, analysis, reporting, dossier coordination, regulatory readiness, and cross-functional collaboration.
You will contribute throughout the product development lifecycle, from project initiation and seasonal reviews through Biological Assessment Dossier preparation and submission.
Working with technical, regulatory, and development stakeholders, you will help identify risks and turn complex data into actionable insights.
You'll also have the opportunity to improve processes through automation, dashboards, visualization, and AI-enabled solutions.

Accountabilities
  • Drive the quality, integrity, validation, and accessibility of biological development data by conducting data quality checks, resolving issues, and managing trial data from multiple sources.
  • Collect, prepare, analyze, and present biological data to support seasonal results reviews, Biological Assessment Dossier preparation, and data-driven product development decisions.
  • Lead and coordinate Biological Assessment Dossier activities from project initiation through submission, tracking timelines, deliverables, data readiness, dependencies, and potential risks.
  • Proactively identify project risks and develop appropriate mitigation actions to keep biological assessment activities on track.
  • Collaborate with regional technical managers, regulatory stakeholders, and multidisciplinary development teams to provide biological data expertise and support regulatory readiness.
  • Contribute to the preparation and delivery of high-quality biological assessment documentation throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes, optimize workflows, and standardize biological data management practices across development activities.
  • Develop dashboards, data visualizations, and AI-enabled solutions that improve project tracking, data accessibility, reporting, and operational efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of strong data management and governance practices while continuously improving the reliability and usability of biological information.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Crop Science, Biology, Agronomy, Agricultural Sciences, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • Professional experience in biological data management, R&D data support within crop science, Biological Assessment Dossier preparation, or multidisciplinary project coordination.
  • Experience working with biological or agricultural datasets from multiple sources and applying data quality, validation, and governance principles.
  • Strong data analytics, reporting, and visualization capabilities, with familiarity with data management systems and tools.
  • Working knowledge of plant protection regulations, product registration requirements, or biological dossier preparation.
  • Experience with SQL and/or Power BI is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify data issues, investigate their causes, and develop practical solutions.
  • Excellent organizational and project coordination skills, including the ability to manage timelines, deliverables, risks, and multiple stakeholders.
