This skillset will be needed for a future engagement that includes migrating a Federal or State and Local Government from Cerner Patient Accounting to Oracle Health Patient Accounting or a net-new implementation of Oracle Health Patient Accounting. ***


The Oracle Health Patient Accounting Consultant (Soarian-Based Solution) will work on an implementation of Oracle Health Patient Accounting (OHPA) and related technologies for a federal, state, or local government client and:

  • Apply expert knowledge of Oracle Health Patient Accounting (Soarian Financials) to configure, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues across client environments.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in Oracle Health application integration including Patient Accounting, Registration, Scheduling, Charge Services, and HIM.
  • Complete current state analysis to better understand Client needs and requirements that may require deviation from Model design.
  • Lead and mentor client teams on system build strategy, project execution, and best practices.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify process inefficiencies and develop strategic solutions across the entire revenue cycle.
  • Use analytics and reporting tools to drive data-informed decisions and optimize financial and operational outcomes.
  • Conduct system assessments to identify technical and operational improvement opportunities.
  • Guide hospitals and health systems through successful revenue cycle transformations, with a strong emphasis on relationship and change management.
  • Manage and document all work performed in alignment with project tracking, change management, and reporting standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and vendors to resolve technical and functional challenges.
  • Configure, support, upgrade, and maintain clinical and business applications in line with client needs and evolving technologies.
  • Evaluate and test new technologies for improved system interoperability and performance.
  • Lead project meetings and coordinate ongoing development and delivery activities.
  • May execute system build and configuration
  • Documentation of workflows


Key Responsibilities


In addition to the functions listed above, this role will have the following key responsibilities, which include but are not limited to:

  • Provide insight and consultation in team discussions regarding design, build, testing, training, implementation, and support of respective solution area(s)
  • Execute successful implementation of design decisions, tailoring applications to meet departmental/organizational requirements and expectations
  • Manage and complete the development of testing scenarios that correlate with client-approved workflows and design


Requirements:

Required Skills and Experience

  • Oracle Health (Cerner) experience required – specific expertise with implementing and design of a Soarian Based Patient Accounting Revenue Cycle System (Soarian Financials, RevElate, Oracle Health Patient Accounting) is required
  • Completion of at least one net new implementation of a Soarian Based Revenue Cycle system (Soarian Financials, Oracle Health Patient Accounting) serving in a lead implementation role.
  • 8 years of related experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree required (or 12+ years of related experience can be substituted for a degree)
  • US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance of at least a public trust
  • Successful applicants will have strong consulting skills (communication, facilitation, strategic troubleshooting, ability to distill complexity, and building strong relationships with team members, partner organizations, and clients)


Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Has received the Oracle Health Patient Accounting offered training
  • HFMA Certifications: Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR), Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP)
  • Build experience with Soarian Based Revenue Cycle system (Soarian Financials, Oracle Health Patient Accounting)
  • Federal government experience preferred
  • Experience presenting to large groups or key stakeholders preferred


Additional Details

  • Works remotely with approximately 25-50% travel required
  • Salary at S&P is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $141,000 - $161,000 (annualized USD). This represents the estimated salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation. Additionally, S&P’s total compensation package also includes medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, 401K, holidays, and paid time off. This posting will remain open for 120 days or until filled (note there may be numerous positions available under by this singular job posting.)
