Job Title: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote)
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Hours: 35 Hours/Week

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect to lead the design, governance, and implementation of enterprise cloud solutions with a primary focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The architect will define cloud standards, develop secure and scalable architectures, support hybrid cloud integrations, and guide infrastructure modernization initiatives. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and engineering teams to deliver resilient, high-performing cloud environments.
Preferred Certification: Current Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional or Architect Associate certification. Please include certification details with your submission.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement enterprise cloud architectures primarily on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Develop cloud governance frameworks, architecture standards, and best practices.
  • Design secure, scalable, highly available, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Support hybrid cloud environments integrating on-premises infrastructure with OCI.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into cloud solutions.
  • Lead cloud migration and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
  • Drive Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) adoption using Terraform, Ansible, and automation tools.
  • Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership to engineering teams.
  • Create architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Optimize cloud performance, security, and cost through governance and FinOps best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 6-9 years of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) architecture experience.
  • Strong expertise in OCI services, cloud governance, networking, security, and architecture.
  • 4-6 years of Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure and Cloud Networking experience.
  • 4-6 years of Cloud DevOps, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/Ansible).
  • 2-3 years of Cloud Security implementation and governance.
  • 1-2 years of Cloud FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
  • Experience creating architecture documentation using Visio, Abacus, or similar tools.
  • Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP for multi-cloud environments is preferred.
