Job description

) Omnia Healthcare Group is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for preparing and maintaining financial reports and statements while supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of the department.
This role is a fully on-site role, 5-days a week in our corporate office.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Support the timely completion of year-end financial statements, tax returns, and Medicare and Medicaid cost reports.
  • Participate in the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets.
  • Assist in preparing work papers and supporting documentation for Medicare and Medicaid cost report submissions.
  • Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • At least three years of accounting experience, including internships.
  • Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP and PCC is a plus.
  • Experience in healthcare or skilled nursing accounting is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in working with multiple entities
