KPFF is seeking a Structural Engineering Group Leader in the Birmingham area, who is ready to be a part of a team to lead the next generation of talented and passionate engineers & BIM modelers. You'll receive mentorship, guidance, and resources from our Birmingham Team Leader, our Reporting Center Manager, and other leaders within KPFF. As part of our mentorship program, you'll have the freedom to shape your journey while helping others grow in their engineering careers.

Qualifications

To be considered, a candidate must:

  • Be a Professional Engineer (PE) licensed inย AL or surrounding states. Structural Engineering License (SE) is preferred
  • Possess either a:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's Degree in Civil Engineeringย OR
    • Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering
  • Have 8 years or more of project experience.
  • Have at least 3 years of experience successfully leading teams larger than three people.
  • Have design experience in a wide-variety of project materials and stages of construction
