Job description

The Univision Network Limited Partnership in Miami, FL seeks a full-time Camera Operator, Jib responsible for the building, operations and general maintenance of the Jib Cameras. Operator must provide creative, fluid movement of the camera on multi-camera productions for News, Sports and Entertainment studio shows. Create smooth fluid movements of the camera to enhance the production value of each program. Must be able to pan and tilt camera as well as swing the crane through spaces. Maintain stable framing without extraneous movement on all axis. Setup, balance, troubleshoot, and maintain crane and associated equipment, ensuring safety. Operator controls zoom and focus of lens. Good sense of visual composition. Take direction well and work as a team player. Operate in a safe and controlled manner to minimize injury to self or others as well as any damage to equipment or property. Ability to follow a rundown.

Must have 1 year of experience as a jib camera operator.

Must be fluent in written and spoken Spanish. Must be jib camera certified. Must know how to use P2 and XD cameras. Must be knowledgeable in AVID, Premier and Final Cut. Must know LiveU technology. Must have experience with television news networks. Must have experience covering live and breaking news.
