Camera Operator:

Weigel Broadcasting in Chicago, IL, is seeking a thoughtful, detail-oriented, and hardworking Camera Operator to join its creative team.ย 


What You'll Doย 

Work directly with Weigel's Director, Production and Creative Team to produce high quality videography while recording show related elementsย 

Assist and fill in for various roles on the Production Team during tapings including handheld camera, audio, floor direction and teleprompter

Provide support for field shoots and daily production needsย 

Communicate effectively across departments

Perform additional duties, as assigned


What You'll Bring

2-3 years of experience in broadcast, digital, or cable, in a video production-oriented role as a videographer

Hands-on experience with Sony PTZ, ENG-style cameras, and Steadicam preferredย 

Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilitiesย 

Proactive, reliable, and technically proficientย 

Flexible availability, including evenings and weekendsย 

Capable of lifting and moving equipment up to 50 lbs
