Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pricing Analyst to support pricing, margin analysis, and commercial decision-making across the organization. This role is ideal for an early career analyst looking to build a strong foundation in pricing strategy, financial analysis, and cross-functional business support within a manufacturing environment. The Pricing Analyst will work closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations to ensure pricing accuracy, margin discipline, and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Pricing & Margin Support
• Assist in analyzing pricing, cost, and margin data by product, customer, and channel.
• Support the maintenance of price lists, discount structures, and customer-specific pricing.
• Perform basic price-volume-mix and contribution margin analysis under guidance from senior team members.
• Help identify pricing inconsistencies and margin leakage.
Quoting & Commercial Support
• Support Sales with customer quotes, RFQs, and pricing requests.
• Validate pricing inputs to ensure alignment with standard costs, labor, and overhead assumptions.
• Assist with scenario analysis for new business, renewals, and pricing adjustments.
• Ensure pricing approvals and documentation follow established policies.
Reporting & Data Analysis
• Prepare routine pricing and margin reports, including standard vs. actual pricing and margin variances.
• Maintain pricing dashboards and reports to improve visibility and data accuracy.
• Support ad-hoc pricing and profitability analyses for management and commercial teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations to gather data and clarify pricing inputs.
• Partner with Cost Accounting and FP&A to understand cost drivers and their impact on pricing.
• Communicate findings clearly and professionally to internal stakeholders.
Process Improvement & Systems
• Assist in maintaining pricing data within ERP, CRM, and pricing tools.
• Support process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives related to pricing governance.
• Participate in system enhancements and testing related to pricing, reporting, and analytics.
Qualifications
Required

• 0- Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.s of experience in finance, pricing, data analysis, or related internships.
• Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
• Basic understanding of cost structures, margins, and financial statements.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Ability to learn quickly, manage multiple tasks, and work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred
• Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing, industrial, or supply chain environments.
• Exposure to ERP or CRM systems (e.g., Epicor, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Salesforce).
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other reporting tools.
• Interest in pricing strategy, cost accounting, or commercial finance.
