Position Summary

BOK Center is proud to offer a unique, immersive internship experience designed for students seeking hands-on exposure to the live entertainment and venue management industry. This rotational program provides a comprehensive look at how a major arena operates by allowing interns to rotate through a variety of departments-including Marketing and Communications, Event Services, Box Office and Ticketing, Global Partnerships and Premium Services, Booking and Special Events, Guest Services and Front of House, Operations and Food and Beverage.

This role pays an hourly rate of $15.00

This role is expected to last from May 18th, 2026 and will end on August 21st, 2026.

This position will remain open until June 19.

About the Venue

The Bank of Oklahoma Center, also known as the BOK Center, is located in downtown Tulsa and serves as the premier sports and entertainment venue of the region. Offering 19,199-seat multi-purpose arena and 565,000 total square footage designed to accommodate concerts, family shows and other special events, the BOK Center has been named one of the country's best venues.

The Arvest Convention Center, located in the Arena District in downtown Tulsa, is a modern and award-winning venue providing over 275,000 square feet of flexible meeting space. Owned by the City of Tulsa for over 50 years, the ACC has been host to every kind of event imaginable and proudly serves the citizens of Tulsa and guests from around the world.

Responsibilities

Interns will rotate through departments on a predetermined schedule, participating in both event-day and non-event operations. Working directly with BOK Center's full-time staff, interns will assist with a wide range of responsibilities that may include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with artist and tour advance logistics
  • Contributing to marketing and social media campaigns
  • Supporting sponsor activations and client servicing
  • Shadowing box office operations and guest service teams
  • Participating in event setup and breakdown
  • Helping coordinate show day and backstage needs
  • Observing meetings and internal planning processes
  • One-on-one mentorship opportunities with department leaders

Key Learnings:

  • Event-specific digital and social media marketing.
  • Understanding audience segmentation and event promotion tactics.
  • Real-world project management and cross-department collaboration in a live events setting.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, preferably in hospitality, entertainment business, marketing, sports management, or a related field

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
