We're now accepting applications for Fall 2026 International Sales & Distribution Interns in our Los Angeles office.

NEON internships are built around real work, the kind that actually appears in the world and moves the needle for films we believe in. This internship is part of NEON's Undergraduate Internship Program, which gives you more than a single-team experience. Beyond working closely with your International Sales & Distribution colleagues, you'll take part in structured programming, get cross-functional exposure across the company, and go through professional development alongside a cohort of fellow interns.

International Distribution Intern Duties:

The NEON International Saled & Distribution department covers acquisitions, sales, distribution, marketing, and publicity for all the film titles we represent worldwide rights for. Here are a few examples of tasks you can expect as an intern with the International team:

  • ย Sales market support:ย help track competitive projects, screening RSVP lists and link requests, generating availability listings, helping with the market shipment and office set-up, and (during the American Film Market in November) assist with our sales office during the marketย 
  • ย Box Office research: pulling box office reports weekly for the independent international distribution landscape, and for evaluating individual projectsย 
  • Script Evaluation: reading scripts and writing coverage, learning how to evaluate with international sales value in mind
  • ย Marketing/Publicity: updating and tracking international festival requests, compiling international reviews and press breaks, updating grids of new marketing assets, and tracking/reviewing localized artwork
  • ย Other research/support as needed:ย i.e. research on a specific territory, film, or talent
  • NEON all-intern tasks:ย partake in team duties such as office support, film presentations, social sweeps, festival review coverage, and special events staffing

Requirements

To be eligible for this internship, you must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited college/university.
