Junior Mechanical Engineer
Location: Rochester, NY
Compensation: $75,000 - $92,000

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career Mechanical Engineer who enjoys wearing multiple hats and wants to be involved in everything from product development and prototyping to manufacturing support and process improvement.
This role offers exposure to cutting-edge engineering challenges in a collaborative environment where you'll work closely with R&D, manufacturing, and operations teams to help bring new technologies from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support mechanical design and development of equipment, tooling, fixtures, and production-related systems
  • Create and modify 3D models, drawings, and assemblies using SolidWorks
  • Assist with prototyping, testing, and design validation activities
  • Support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting equipment and identifying process improvements
  • Participate in design reviews and engineering projects from concept through implementation
  • Assist with documentation, BOM creation, and engineering change management
  • Utilize 3D printing and rapid prototyping tools to support product and process development
