The Volleyball Department Intern assists in the daily operations of the volleyball academy while gaining hands-on experience in coaching, programing development, and sports administration. This internship is ideal for individuals pursuing careers in coaching, sports management, recreation, or athletic administration.

Essential Job Functions
  • Assist with planning and leading volleyball clinics, camps, lessons, and training sessions for athletes of varying ages and skill levels
  • Support academy coaches during team practices and skill development sessions
  • Help create plans, drills, and seasonal curriculum for volleyball programming
  • Assist with administrative duties including communication, scheduling, registration support, attendance tracking, and program organization
  • Help organize equipment, court setup, and breakdown for practices and events
  • Support special events, tournaments, and academy activities as needed
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and energetic environment for athletes and families
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Volleyball playing and/or coaching experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Evening and weekend availability preferred
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Reliable and steady transportation to and from work
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Working Conditions

Salary Description
