Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse
Rates starting at $27/ hour.
We are offering a $6,000 Sign-on Bonus (to be paid throughout the first year of employment) for the Licensed Practical Nurse LPN position.
This is a part-time position in Butler, PA with 10 hour shifts and every other weekend, (2 to 3 days per week).
Lutheran SeniorLife provides a comprehensive array of community-based health and social service programs throughout western Pennsylvania.
Our services include LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly); skilled nursing, home health; personal care; adoption & foster care; assisted living; adult day services; memory care; hospice; palliative care; residential living; affordable housing; home safety monitoring; Meals on Wheels; rehabilitation services and private duty.
Licensed personal care community with accommodations for 29 individuals needing more support with activities of daily living. Located near the Benbrook Medical Center Complex in Butler, PA. Comfortable and home-like environment offering a person-centered approach to care.
The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for the overall care of those we serve within the Nursing, Personal Care or Assisted Living facilities. Work to ensure that residents receive high quality care and provide oversight and direction to Caregiver/MedTech or C.N.A. staff member.
Qualifications
Licensed Practical Nurse qualifications include:
  • Graduated from an accredited school of nursing and possesses a current license, in good standing, from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • A graduate nurse who has not yet obtained board results or a Nurse who does not yet have a Pennsylvania license must have a temporary practice permit required by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
  • Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word and Excel required. Ability to create, update and manage patient records, such as MARS, within an electronic system.
