Description

The Human Capital Intern will  support the full-cycle recruiting activities of the Human Capital team during a 12-week internship. This role works closely with our Recruiter and HR  Generalists to assist with sourcing talent, scheduling interviews, coordinating recruiting events, and enhancing the candidate experience. This  internship offers hands-on exposure to talent acquisition in a fast-paced,  multi-company environment and is ideal for students interested in HR,  recruiting, or organizational development.


Start date as early as August 10, 2026. 


Responsibilities
  • Supports talent acquisition efforts by sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, community partners, schools, job fairs, and other recruiting channels.
  • Assists with the hiring process by screening resumes, coordinating interviews, communicating with candidates and hiring managers, and helping maintain a positive candidate experience.
  • Coordinates pre-employment activities under the guidance of the HR team, including background checks, drug screenings, physicals, employment documentation, and new hire communications.
  • Prepares onboarding materials, enters employee information into HR systems (Paylocity, Axonify, etc.), and assists with new hire orientation activities.
  • Maintains accurate recruiting and employee records by updating job postings, applicant tracking systems, HRIS data, and other recruiting documentation.
  • Develops knowledge of talent acquisition and HR best practices by learning behavioral interviewing techniques, employment law, confidentiality standards, and equal employment opportunity requirements.
  • Represents LANGE professionally by promoting the company's culture and employment brand during recruiting events, job fairs, school partnerships, and candidate interactions.
  • Contributes to the Human Resources team by assisting with administrative tasks, supporting cross-functional projects, and performing other duties that provide exposure to benefits, employee relations, training, compliance, and employee engagement. 

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or a   related field.
  • Strong interest in recruiting, or talent development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; professional and welcoming demeanor.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools; familiarity with LinkedIn or job boards is a plus.
