Job description

Purpose of the Jobย

ย

This role is a key part of a dedicated global in-house creative production team driving creative innovation within the marketing team of this long-time client - a global leader in the Tech industry.ย  We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Art Director to join the team based in the US.ย ย ย

Working in close partnershipย  with the Strategic Copywriter, and Concept Designer, this role is central to developing, executing, and refining high-impact integrated marketing campaigns across Above-the-Line (ATL), Below-the-Line (BTL), and Through-the-Line (TTL) channels. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping the visual identity and creative direction for campaigns primarily targeting the US and LATAM markets, with a strong focus on driving measurable business outcomes such as revenue, customer acquisition, and return on investment (ROI). A foundational requirement for this role is demonstrated confidence and practical experience in integrating emerging AI and generative tools into the design and production workflow to rapidly develop high-quality, largely digital assets.

Key Responsibilities

ย

Creative Leadership & Direction

  • Lead the conceptualization and execution of visually stunning and strategically sound creative assets that adhere to the client's global brand guidelines while resonating locally with US and LATAM audiences.
  • Provide clear art direction and feedback to a team of designers, copywriters, and production specialists to ensure all output meets the highest standards of creative excellence and technical proficiency.
  • Translate marketing objectives and data-driven insights into compelling visual narratives and actionable campaign concepts.
  • Oversee the visual quality and consistency of all creative deliverables across diverse media formats, including digital advertising (display, social, video), email, web content, and occasional print/OOH.

AI Integration & Production Efficiency

  • Act as the subject matter expert for the practical application of generative AI tools within the creative production cycle.
  • Develop and implement efficient workflows that leverage AI to accelerate concept visualization, generate variations, adapt assets for different platforms/languages, and reduce time-to-market for campaigns.
  • Ensure all AI-generated content is ethically sourced, appropriately licensed (where applicable), and meets brand safety and legal requirements.
  • Champion the continuous exploration of new creative technologies to optimize production and maintain a competitive edge in visual execution.

Campaign Focus & Market Expertise

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing Managers, Strategists, and regional stakeholders to ensure creative solutions are culturally relevant and effective for the target markets (US and LATAM).
  • Prioritize the creation of digital-first assets designed to maximize performance in paid media and drive immediate user actions (e.g., clicks, downloads, purchases).
  • Maintain a deep understanding of platform best practices (e.g., social media ad formats, optimal digital video lengths, dynamic creative optimization) to maximize asset impact.

Knowledge, Skills + Experienceย

ย

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as an Art Director, Creative Lead, or Senior Designer, preferably within an agency environment or an in-house creative team for a major global brand.
  • Portfolio: A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing successful campaign work across ATL, BTL, and digital platforms, with clear examples of driving measurable results (acquisition, revenue).
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert-level mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Generative AI: Proven, practical experience integrating generative AI tools into the day-to-day design process, including strong prompt engineering skills and a portfolio that includes successful AI-assisted asset production.
  • Market Knowledge: Experience developing campaigns and creative assets tailored specifically for US and LATAM consumer markets, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and insight.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

ย

Desired Skills & Attributes

ย

  • Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is desirable, though not strictly required.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative rationale clearly to both creative and non-creative stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • A data-informed creative approachโ€”the ability to use performance metrics (e.g., CTR, CPA, ROI) to iterate and optimize creative assets.
  • Proactive, curious, and a natural problem-solver who stays ahead of design trends and technological advancements.

For New York and California applicants: The salary range for this position is $140,000 to $160,00 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, certifications and work location. This range may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.ย ย

The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus targets, benefits and/or other applicable incentives.ย ย
