Description:

Purpose of the Job/Essential Functions:

Support the creation, execution and production of Austin PBS video material to support station marketing, development, corporate support and membership efforts. This person will work closely with our Marketing Video Producer to help with all department video needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • This role will complete assignments which will include but is not limited to, promotional material creation, show promo creation, video and photo editing.
  • Support production of overall on-air promotions for brand awareness and revenue generation.
  • Manage editing and production of ongoing monthly video needs, including co-branding spots, cutting together show sizzle reels, and more.
  • Support our Marketing Video Producer on shoots in regards to planning, camera operations, lighting and staging.
  • Produce campaign promo spots for on-air and online use.
  • Cut and edit videos for internal and external use
  • Participate in marketing and content planning meetings
Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Student must be available to commit to a minimum of 8 weeks for this internship
  • Internship will be in-person/hybrid - In-person Tuesday and Thursday
  • 15-20 hour a week commitment
  • A portfolio (website, link, or PDF) is encouraged
  • Knowledge of Avid and/or Premiere, Photoshop and After Effects.
  • Display creativity and initiative with the ability to respond quickly to last-minute needs and changing priorities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • A team player and people person that is organized, creative, logical, perceptive and decisive.
