Inside Ticket Sales Internship

Beloit, WI 217 Shirland Avenue, Beloit, WI 53511

The Beloit Sky Carp are seeking a motivated, energetic, and career driven Inside Sales Intern to join our Ticket Sales team. This internship provides hands-on experience in professional sports sales while developing valuable skills in sales, customer service, communication, relationship building, and revenue generation.

The Inside Sales Intern will work directly with the Ticket Sales team to generate new business, cultivate relationships with prospective clients, assist with ticket sales campaigns, and provide exceptional service to current customers. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or aspiring sports professional looking to gain meaningful experience in the business side of professional baseball. The position is seasonal (October 2026 through April 2027), generally limited to a maximum of 30 hours per week and does not include benefits.ย  Internships are unpaid, and they must be part of a college or university program or course.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesย 

  • Generating maximum revenue through full menu ticket programs.
  • Sell full-seasons, half-season, and partial-season ticket plans for the Beloit Sky Carp.
  • Create and develop new business by regularly pitching new prospects through in-stadium tours, external appointments, and phone prospecting.
  • Attend outside events with the purpose of selling ticket packages and corporate sales.
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities and closed sales.ย 
  • Expectation of 50+ Calls/Emails Per Day documented in CRM System
  • Service New & Current Clients During Non-Baseball Season
  • Gain expertise knowledge of current Tickets.com ticketing system to answer questions and troubleshoot any technical/customer issues
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to pull tarp and other manual labor tasksย 

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree or higher preferred

Customer service experience preferred

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a seasonal, part-time position. ย Days and hours will vary to include evening and weekend work according to business needs.ย 

Physical Demands
