Join our team as a Quality & EHS Intern for a two-year internship, where you'll support Quality Assurance and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) activities in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You'll assist with quality system processes, audits, safety programs, and continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll help maintain compliance with quality and EHS requirements while gaining valuable experience in manufacturing operations and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Environment, Health & Safety (EHS):

  • Support implementation and follow-up of EHS programs and initiatives.
  • Assist in safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification.
  • Track safety observations, incidents, near misses, and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate training and EHS communication activities.
  • Participate in environmental and workplace safety improvement projects.
  • Maintain compliance with internal EHS standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a safe working environment and support safety culture initiatives.

Quality Assurance & Packing Quality:

  • Support daily quality operations and address production floor issues.
  • Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting of quality KPIs.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Update documentation such as work instructions and quality records.
  • Assist with audits, process confirmations, and quality inspections.
  • Monitor compliance with company quality standards and procedures.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for defect reduction and process stability.

Administrative, Mentorship & Operational Support:

  • Provide support to the Quality Team by gathering information and supervising production orders.
  • Assist in investigations related to internal and external complaints.
  • Support training and onboarding of QEHS team members.

Additional Job Description:

Education:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree, certificate, or coursework in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional work environment, preferably in a manufacturing, Quality, or EHS-related role.
  • Exposure to ISO standards, auditing, or safety programs.

Technical & Professional Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, prioritize issues, and support decision-making.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Teamwork capabilities.

Pay Rate:$24.51 per hour
Shift:Admin Shift, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM, flexible during school hours
Commitment:At least 28 hours onsite Monday through Friday. This is not a remote position.

The salary for this position has a range of kr0.00 - kr0.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
