Scope of Position
This self-directed and detail-orientated individual is responsible for assisting the supervisor of the department, as well as orderly operation of the Mold/PUCB department. This includes completion of production orders in a timely fashion, support of lean transformation, employee engagement, and problem solving.
This position reports to the Foundry Supervisor, is onsite, and is based in Franklin, NH.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe work environment and culture for all associates, following all safety rules and regulations, and escalating all safety concerns immediately. Ensure that any job-related injury and/or illness is reported immediately to the Supervisor.
  • Maintain constant communication with the supervisor to coordinate work assignments to meet customer demands and shipping schedules.
  • Assist employees by solving problems, answering questions, reviewing quality, and training employees.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and systems, coordinate with maintenance and other support departments as needed to maintain the production schedule.
  • Act as an informal leader and influence without authority, abiding by our Code of Conduct and in accordance with our values to engage employees and build positive employee relations in a professional manner.
  • Lead daily tier meetings.
  • Drives continuous process improvement in coordination with the CI team.
  • Drives inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain primary work area in accordance with 5S standards.
  • Maintain attendance and punctuality standards; wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by Production Supervisor or Company management.

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 4+ years of related manufacturing experience
  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

Working Conditions:
While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing facility. You will be required to work at the Company's Foundry location in Franklin, NH. Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.
Physical Requirements: Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to push and pull up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to physically move around manufacturing floor.
  • Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
