Job description

We are seeking a Senior Android Developer with 7–10 years of experience to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade Android applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Clean Architecture, MVVM, mobile security, performance optimization, and CI/CD. This role requires close collaboration with product, UX, architecture, and engineering teams while mentoring junior developers.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of scalable native Android applications.

Develop features using Kotlin, Java, Jetpack Compose, and Android SDK.

Define and implement MVVM/Clean Architecture and reusable components.

Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party SDKs.

Optimize application performance, reliability, accessibility, and security.

Implement secure authentication (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, biometrics).

Mentor developers, perform code reviews, and establish engineering standards.

Collaborate with Product Owners, UX, QA, DevOps, and backend teams.

Support CI/CD pipelines and Google Play Store releases.

Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

7–10 years of native Android application development.

Expertise in Kotlin and Java.

Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose, Android Jetpack, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Coroutines, Flow, Room, Retrofit, Hilt/Dagger, and Firebase.

Experience with REST APIs, Git, Gradle, Android Studio, and Agile delivery.

Strong understanding of mobile performance tuning, testing, and secure coding.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech.

Experience with GraphQL, Kotlin Multiplatform, or Flutter.

Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD platforms.

Knowledge of OWASP Mobile Security, PCI DSS, and ADA accessibility.
