Who are we hiring?

The Senior Coordinator, Business Solutions Media for Madison Square Garden will play a key role in driving the success of the Media Sales team through strategic ideation, development, and execution of sellable platforms and sponsorship solutions. This role will take ownership of cross-departmental collaboration by partnering with production, programming, graphics, and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless sponsor integrations and secure necessary approvals.

This position prefers someone with a creative background who can translate ideas into polished, story-driven presentations that resonate with clients and internal stakeholders. A strong understanding of business processes, media sales operations, and the evolving sponsorship landscape is essential. Additionally, this role carries the potential for new business prospecting including researching prospective clients, supporting outreach efforts, and helping grow new partnership opportunities.

What will you do?ย 

  • Support day-to-day activities of 2-3 Media Sales Account Executives
  • Assist in creating customized proposals and pitch decks for potential partners including storytelling, copywriting, page design, etc.
  • Develop relationships with MSG Networks production, creative, programming, etc. to ensure approvals and execution of all partner activations
  • Identify and research prospective advertisers, sponsors, and brand partners by monitoring industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging categories
  • Brainstorm any potential on-air partnerships for client proposal
  • Manage the process for pulling clips and proof of execution
  • Monitor and track inventory of on-air assets
  • Support the execution of campaign deliverables, ensuring assets and timelines are delivered accurately
  • Partner with Knicks, Rangers, Islanders, and Devils sponsorship teams to support the development and execution of cross-platform partnership opportunities.
  • Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.

ย What do you need to succeed?

  • Undergraduate degree required; 2-4 years experience in related field or in internships.ย ย 
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) a plusย 
  • Proficient writing and comprehension, ability to multi-task in a deadline driven environment with exceptional communication skills.ย ย 
  • Comfortable in both internal and client-facing meetings, calls, and presentations
  • Keen attention to detail, exceptional creative thinking abilities, ambitious, positive, curious, and outgoing attitude, excellent organizational skillsย 
  • Interest in partnership activation, sponsorship, and sports / entertainment marketingย ย 
  • Knowledge and interest in digital and social strategies for brands, especially in the sponsorship spaceย 
  • Ability to convey thoughts, concepts and ideas through brainstorms, writing, proposals, meeting notes, research, presentation decks and best practices.ย
