Orthopedic Spine Surgeon (Per Diem) Opportunity in San Jose, CA with Kaiser Permanente

The Permanente Medical Group is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Spine Surgeon (Per Diem) to join our collegial and well-established team in San Jose, CA. 

Position Highlights 

  1. Team Composition: 4 surgeons 
  2. Collaborative Model: Work closely with 5 experienced Physician Assistants, regional physical medicine and rehabilitation departments, regional neurology departments, regional neurosurgery departments
  3. Surgical Focus: adult degenerative, adult deformity, tumor, trauma, infection
  4. OR Time: 3-5 days per week
  5. Call Schedule: ~1 in 5 weeks

Full-time annual salary range is $698,400 to $720,000*. Plus, additional potential incentives up to $148,170. Reduced schedules with pro-rated compensation may be available. *Some incentive opportunities are estimates based on potential premium pay.
 Orthopedic Surgery Spine range is $298 - $308 per hour

Requirements:

  • Board Certification or Eligibility
  • Must be eligible to obtain a CA medical license or be currently licensed to practice within CA
