Steinbeck Peninsula Equine Clinics (SPEC)

Steinbeck Peninsula Equine Clinics (SPEC) is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible equine surgeon with a strong interest in sports medicine and lameness to join our progressive, equine-exclusive practice on Californiaโ€™s Central Coast.

This position offers a rare combination of advanced surgical capability, high-level imaging, a strong referral base, and an exceptional quality of life in one of the most desirable equestrian regions in the country. Our world-class team consists of 22 doctors including multiple board-certified surgeons and internal medicine specialists, more than 30 skilled support staff, and consulting specialists in sports medicine, cardiology, oncology and opthamology.

SPEC is proud to be part of the Altano International network of equine practices, providing access to a global community of specialists, collaborative case support, and robust continuing education opportunities while maintaining the autonomy and culture of a locally-led hospital.
