Job description

ADF Engineering is seeking an experienced full-time Process Safety and Risk Engineer to join our team in Dayton, OH. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering
  • Professional Engineer License (P.E.)
  • 5+ years of experience in Industrial Process Design & Safety
  • 4+ years of experience in industrial chemical process safety
  • 8+ years of total industry experience

Preferred experience includes P&IDs, process design, ChemCAD/Aspen, combustible dust mitigation, and familiarity with industries such as agribusiness, pharmaceuticals, biofuels, and feed processing. We're looking for someone who brings strong communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration to the table.


PAY: $120,000–$125,000 annual salary

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROCESS SAFETY AND RISK ENGINEER

In this position, you'll apply your process safety and risk expertise across a variety of engaging projects. Your days will include leading PHAs and DHAs, conducting relief device sizing, supporting OSHA PSM and RMP compliance, overseeing Management of Change processes, and carrying out Pre-Startup Safety Reviews. You'll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations while helping clients navigate complex challenges with confidence.
