  • Serve as a trusted advisor, educating clients on emerging risks and best practices.

WhatWe'reLooking For

Experience:Background in risk engineering, safety, or related fields; specialtyexpertiseor multi-line experience preferred.

Skills:

  • Technical knowledge in risk control and industry standards
  • Strongconsultativeskillstomarketrisk mitigation solutions
  • Self-starters who can independently manage a client service book across a designated territory.
  • Technical writingproficiencyto effectively communicate risk evaluation and mitigation measures to clients and underwriters
  • Ability to analyze data and tell a compelling story with insights
  • Proficiencywith digital tools (dashboards, mobile apps, client platforms)and openness to emerging technologies
  • Customer-centric mindset and collaborative approach
  • Certification in safety or risk management disciplines (such as CSP, CIH, CPCU, CFPS, ARM) is a plus.

Education:Degree in engineering, safety, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).

Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

$102,400 - $153,600
