Garfield County School District No. 16 is seeking student applications for the summer technology intern program. This program will provide students work experience at the entry level of technology support. Students that apply for this position should be at least 16 years of age and hold a valid driver's license. Students seeking this internship should also be interested in pursuing a career in the technology field after graduation. This is a paid position that will require students to work four ten hour days a week, Tuesday - Friday. The position(s) will run Tuesday, June 3rd through Friday August 8th. Interns will be allowed to arrange with the Chief of Operations and Innovation periods of time off to attend either camps or family summer events in advance. The interns may also continue employment through the school as their schedule allows. Along with the application, potential interns must submit three letters of recommendation that must include one from the school principal and a faculty member.
