Summary: Catholic Charities Community Services (CCCS) is seeking a dynamic Manager of Financial Systems to
join our dedicated Fiscal Team. This pivotal role reports to the Director of Fiscal Analysis & Systems
and plays a critical part in managing and enhancing our Financial Information Systems architecture.
The hands-on manager will administer key systems including ERP (Infor-Lawson), Planning/Forecasting (Prophix), Accounts Payable (Cognizant/MHC), Employee T &E (Emburse/Chrome River), and
management reporting applications (various report writers and databases). The person in this role will
also actively contribute to special projects for CCCS and its affiliated agencies, while providing
leadership and supervision to a team of staff, consultants, and interns to achieve departmental goals.
Salary: $115,000 - $130,000 Annually
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial system management for the purpose of enabling the Finance team to successfully meet its planning, reporting and fiscal audit requirements, including the following:
1. Fiscal (financial) system/solution administration
โ€ข Maintain internally administered solutions and applications (technical, hands-on role).
โ€ข Liaise with third party vendors for maintenance and optimization of hosted solutions.
โ€ข Oversee the user support model-Tools (ticketing system, group email inbox), SLAs and protocols/procedures.
2. Financial Master Data Management (MDM) and reporting enablement
โ€ข Maintain master data in ERP and FP&A systems (org structures, chart of accounts, consolidation and allocation rules/calculations) for all agency entities.
โ€ข Provide oversight and technical support for month-end financial closings and reporting.
โ€ข Enable/maintain databases and reporting solutions to assure integrity of underlying data for all financial/compliance reporting and planning.
โ€ข Identify, recommend and drive process and solution improvements.
3. Budget and Forecast enablement
โ€ข Responsible for administration of the agency FP&A platform (Prophix), including development/maintenance of all financial modules.
โ€ข Play a critical role in the Planning/Forecasting functions as liaison to the Business Process Owners (BPO).
โ€ข Identify, recommend and drive process and solution improvements.
4. Supervision of Staff
โ€ข Collaborate with the Director to establish team goals and objectives.
โ€ข Define and administer specific measures for evaluating staff performance.
โ€ข Schedule and prioritize assignments as required.
โ€ข Train and mentor staff.
5. Administration & Other
โ€ข Policies and Procedures - Own the policies and procedures related to financial system support/controls and fiscal operations effectiveness.
โ€ข Quality Control & Improvements, Fiscal Projects- Assess/drive opportunities for improvements to fiscal operating processes, controls and tools. Collaborate with Director on facilitation and execution of approved transformation projects

Qualifications
Education and/or experience required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems (MIS, IS, CIS), Computer Science, Data Science, or Information Technology
  • 7+ years relevant accounting/finance or information systems experience

Skills, Licenses, and/or competencies required:
  • Financial system/process enablement and administration
  • Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (including non-profit)
  • Success in the role requires very good interpersonal and communication skills exhibited by the ability to interact with staff, management, and other departments in a professional manner.
  • Work requires ability to produce quality materials within tight timeframes, a willingness to work a flexible schedule (including evenings and occasional weekends) and a commitment to the mission of Catholic Charities.

Considered A Plus
  • Knowledge of office software and automated enterprise financial systems
  • Financial software certifications or certificates
  • Early version Lawson (Infor) administration expertise, including ability to incorporate MS- Excel, MS-Access, SQL integration solutions
  • Report-writing experience in Crystal, MS-Access and/or Lawson
  • FP&A tool super user/administration (preferably Prophix)
  • Experience in Project Management
