Associate Intern
Responsibilities
IMP is currently seeking candidates for a paid internship starting in December 2024. The ideal candidate will have an active interest in investment management, compliance, and business analysis. As an intern, you will be responsible for learning IMP's proprietary CLEAR Compliance® system, assisting with project tracking, writing and testing basic compliance rules, and assisting other employees with general project tasks. Interns will be exposed to and/or receive training in a variety of areas, including investment compliance, vendor systems, financial securities, Agile project management, business analysis, and SQL.
Duration
For current 4th year students, the internship will be throughout the school year as class schedules allow. Exceptional hires may be offered a full-time position with the company at the end of the internship.
Eligible Applicants
The following candidates are encouraged to apply:
  • Currently enrolled 4th year students in pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
  • Honorably discharged military veterans

Requirements
  • Interest in investment management, compliance, and business analysis
  • Solid written and oral communication skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases is a plus
  • Must be able to pass an IMP-administered logic test
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to work during normal business hours on a set weekly schedule
  • Being able to commute to our Boston office is a plus
  • Ability to work from home - Hybrid

Salary: $30/hr
Hours: Minimum of 10-15 hours per week is required
