Essential Job Functions:

  • Serve as a brand ambassador for One TrueNorth, promoting our culture, colleague experience, benefits, and perks while effectively “selling” the organization to candidates.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruiting lifecycle for all W2 positions using our HRIS/ATS (ADP); including posting requisitions, tracking applicants, screening applications, maintaining accurate data, interview notes, and email communications.
  • Lead and guide hiring leaders through the Requisition Request process, job description drafting/updates, and overall hiring workflow.
  • Conduct phone/video screenings, full interviews, reference checks, and coordinate in-person or virtual interviews for both internal and external candidates.
  • Actively source candidates through platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and other channels for open, evergreen, and forecasted positions.
  • Partner with Marketing on advertising, outreach, and employer branding initiatives, including job posting sponsorships, monthly open requisition blasts, drip campaigns, and talent advisements.
  • Own and manage the Talent Community Pool, maintaining pipelines and collaborating with Marketing to drive engagement through ongoing drip campaigns.
  • Utilize communication templates, project management tools, and checklists to move candidates through the courtship process with timely communication and clear next steps.
  • Partner with Human Systems colleagues to support offers, budgeting alignment, background checks, pre-employment assessments, billing accuracy, and onboarding coordination.
  • Represent TrueNorth at career fairs, conferences, community events, and company functions, including travel, booth staffing, and sharing our culture and brand with prospective candidates.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for the TA team, supporting regional and collegiate strategies, ensuring compliance with local employment laws, maintaining confidentiality, and collaborating across regional offices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Credentials:

  • 3 years of full cycle recruiting experience required, 5 years preferred.
  • Four years of experience with talent management systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) required.
  • Experience using ADP as an ATS preferred
  • Experience and knowledge of the insurance industry preferred.
  • Two-year degree in HR, Risk Management, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Mastery skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and basic PowerPoint functions required.
