Role in Brief:
As a Senior Healthcare Strategy Consultant in HDR's Consulting group, you will apply deep industry knowledge, analytical and technical expertise, and a system-wide mindset to help healthcare clients grow, foster, or optimize business interests as well as mitigate risks in an ever-changing landscape. You will be the chief relationship, project, and analysis manager for clients all the while directing multidisciplinary teams of consultants, analysts, researchers, architects, et al in building strategic frameworks, modeling scenarios, and facilitating collaborative interactions to deliver powerful results. You will often find yourself facilitating at the intersection of strategy, clinical care, operations, built environment, and technology while translating findings and solutions to key stakeholders across all domains.
Primary responsibilities:
Participate as project team member by, for example:
     o Applying industry trends and innovations to strategic and master planning efforts;
     o Teaming with client senior leadership and Board;
     o Developing functional and space programs;
     o Interpreting data and analytic output for application to operations;
     o Evaluating potential clinical programs; and
     o Facilitating working sessions.
Ensure Consulting team is up-to-date on trends and innovations for Healthcare, ES&T and Civic market sectors.
In collaboration with Regional office and Business Development principals and leaders, lead and coordinate pursuits, focusing on targeted premier clients. Partner in the development of strategic client relationships.
Coordinate/manage consultant work effort on projects.
Additional responsibilities:
Provide leadership for continuous improvement efforts within Consulting.
Co-create new consulting services and coach others in the development of services.
Liaison between clinical and administrative clients and design team.
Advise the Consultant leaders on administrative, management, and human resource issues.
Pursue greater opportunities for consulting teams to provide services in ES&T and Civic market sectors.
Provide interim management for teams in transition.
Provide education about consulting services and specific tools and techniques to other segments of HDR and to clients.
Through written and verbal communication, inform internal and external audiences on a variety of topics.
Engage in the full life cycle of client relationships: relationship development, pursuit strategy, marketing, proposal writing, client interviews, project planning, project leadership, project execution, post-project thought leadership, etc.

Master's degree in Public Administration, Health Care Administration or Business Administration
10+ years' experience in healthcare management, nursing, pharmacy, allied health or related experience
Deep, hands-on expertise and proven relationship-building in healthcare and an ability to speak the language of the C-Suite. Understands large, complex systems.
Experience in international healthcare consulting, operations, and/or planning
Advanced credential (e.g., SHSMD, FACHE, etc.)
Experience with planning, strategy, process improvement, design and construction of healthcare projects
Background in the entire life cycle of a client engagement process - networking, prospecting, opportunity identification, proposal development, project execution, and spreading the message and lessons learned upon project completion.
Proven history managing interdisciplinary teams to create powerful, effective, and coherent design solutions.
Able to maintain multiple simultaneous projects, working alone or in a team setting
Proven group facilitation, writing and professional communication skills
Ability to interact professionally with healthcare clients and design team members
Excellent computer skills required
Ability to travel up to 50% and obtain passport
