Support Intern (Post-Production + Studio Support)
Unpaid Internship for College/University Credit Only
Bang Zoom! Studios - Audio Post-Production
Looking to break into the world of anime, TV, and video game post-production?
Bang Zoom! Studios is an award-winning audio post house where stories come to life through voice acting, sound design, and collaboration. We specialize in English-language dubbing of anime and animation, as well as voice-over and audio post-production services for film, television, and video games.
Heads up: We are an audio post-production studio. This internship is not related to the music industry or pre-production.
Internship Eligibility & Requirements (Please Read Carefully)
This internship is designed as an educational experience tied to an academic program and is structured to align with applicable federal and state guidelines for unpaid internships.
  • Unpaid internship for college/university credit only
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or academic program
  • Must receive academic credit for participation (verification may be required)
  • Priority is given to students who require an internship for graduation
  • A cover letter is required (applications without one will not be considered)
  • No phone calls, please

About the Internship
This hybrid internship offers hands-on exposure to both production workflows and studio support operations in a real working audio post-production environment.
Interns will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining insight into how projects move from preparation through final delivery. The program emphasizes learning, observation, and skill development, with opportunities to contribute in a supervised setting. Interns do not displace employees. Tasks and responsibilities are structured to support learning objectives and may vary by departmental needs.
Time Commitment
  • 2+ days per week
  • 8 hours per day (coordinated with academic requirements)
  • Minimum commitment: 10-13 weeks
  • Multiple studio locations - reliable transportation required

What You'll Learn & Assist With
Post-Production Support
  • Assisting Production Coordinators and Managers with day-to-day tasks
  • Supporting script prep, loop counts, and production materials
  • Learning how projects move through an audio post-production pipeline
  • Assisting Client Services and internal production teams

Studio & Office Support
  • Supporting front desk and general studio operations
  • Assisting the Office Manager and Support Team with administrative tasks
  • Maintaining studio cleanliness, organization, and functionality
  • Managing supplies and restocking as needed
  • Supporting Animation and Video departments as assigned

Professional Development
  • Exposure to real-world studio workflows and team collaboration
  • Building time management, organization, and communication skills
