Job description

The Oncology Dietitian is responsible for working with patients and their families, to help maintain optimal nutritional status throughout the course of their oncology diagnosis, treatments, remission, and/or recurrence. Other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelors' or advanced degree from accredited university with emphasis in food and nutrition required. Oncology dietitian certification preferred. Successfully passed CDR exam. Licensed Dietitian in the State of Tennessee by the Board of Dietitian/Nutritionist Examiners.
Experience: Completed an internship in program that is approved by American Dietetics Association. 2-3 years of clinical experience that includes working with the oncology population required. Workable knowledge of computer basics, as well as nutritional resources and general dietary and office equipment. Skilled in educating mostly adults, but some experience in working with all ages would be helpful.
