Role Overview

As a Senior Financial Data Analyst, you will transform financial and operational data into insights that support planning, performance management, and business decision‑making. You will develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, data models, and automated analytics solutions that improve visibility into business performance and increase the efficiency of Finance processes. Working cross‑functionally, you will translate complex business questions into data‑driven analyses, identify trends and opportunities, and leverage automation and AI‑enabled tools to strengthen reporting, forecasting, and financial insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze complex financial and operational data to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities that support business and financial decision‑making.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions that provide clear visibility into financial and operational performance.
  • Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical needs and translate them into scalable data and reporting solutions.
  • Build and maintain data models, reporting logic, business rules, and data definitions that support consistent and reliable financial analysis.
  • Automate recurring reporting and analytical processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across Finance.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality analysis to ensure financial reporting is accurate, complete, and consistent across systems.
  • Develop ad hoc analyses, forecasts, and scenario‑based insights to support financial planning, performance reviews, and business decisions.
  • Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, compelling insights and recommendations for leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve Finance data, reporting processes, tools, and workflows.
  • Leverage AI‑enabled tools and automation to accelerate analysis, improve reporting efficiency, identify trends, and enhance financial insights.
  • Evaluate emerging AI, analytics, and automation capabilities and identify practical opportunities to apply them within Finance.
  • Maintain documentation for key reports, metrics, data definitions, business rules, and analytical processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, financial analytics, business intelligence, FP&A analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong experience analyzing complex financial and operational data and translating findings into actionable business insights.
  • Experience developing dashboards, reporting solutions, and automated analytics using business intelligence and data visualization tools.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with SQL and data visualization or business intelligence tools.
  • Experience working with financial and operational data with an understanding of key financial metrics and business performance drivers.
  • Experience with data modeling, data definitions, business rules, data validation, and reporting governance.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve reporting and analytical processes through automation and process improvement.
  • Familiarity with AI‑enabled analytics, automation, or emerging technologies used to improve reporting, forecasting, and decision support.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to independently work through complex data and business questions.
  • Strong communication and data storytelling skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to business stakeholders.
  • Ability to independently manage complex work and multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
