Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Direct Action Trainer provides advanced skills training for Direct Action EOD Technicians to operate as an enabler to support Maneuver and Special Operations Forces (SOF) in the following hazardous threat areas of CBRNE, HME, sensitive site exploitation (SSE), post blast investigations, improvised explosive device (IED) electronics and circuit diagnostics, manual neutralization techniques, Opposing Force (OPFOR) targeting, IED, vehicle borne IED defeat, unmanned aerial systems (UAS) defeat, advanced marksmanship and small unit tactics. The foundational fundamentals of Shoot, Move, Communicate, and Medicate are the core of advanced skills for EOD Soldiers to properly deploy in support of Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) in a Large-Scale Combat Operations (LSCO) environment. Proper training is required to support EOD technicians as they deploy. Position requires travel to training locations in support of EOD organizations.

You Have
  • 10+ years of experience in the US military
  • 8+ years of experience with EOD
  • Experience with deployments conducting SOF operations in austere locations
  • Experience with military training methods and techniques
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain a Foundational Instructor or Facilitator certification within 120 days of start date
