They provide valuable hands-on experience and networking opportunities, often serving as a stepping stone to a career in environmental science, policy, conservation, or related fields. Environmental internships can be found in government agencies, non-profits, consulting firms, and private companies.

What types of projects or tasks can I expect to work on during an environmental internship?

As an Environmental Intern, you'll typically assist with tasks such as conducting field sampling, data collection, environmental impact assessments, and preparing technical reports. Interns often collaborate with environmental scientists and engineers, gaining hands-on experience with monitoring equipment, sample analysis, and regulatory compliance documentation.
