Radius Aerospace– Hot Springs is a leading manufacturer of sheet metal parts and assemblies used in the aviation industry. We utilize a wide range of metal forming techniques and special manufacturing processes, servicing the commercial, military, regional jet, helicopter, and general aviation markets.

Position Summary

Pull aluminum and titanium material, measure sizes using a tape measure, cut the noted sizes out of the sheet using cutting equipment and machines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Distributes stock among production workers, keeping records of material issued.
  • Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices.
  • Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Stores articles in bins, on floor, or on shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size, or type of material.
  • Fills orders or issues supplies from stock.
  • Compiles reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts, receiving inspection judgments, and stock records, spoilage and/or damage to stock, location changes, job WIP, and refusal of shipments.
  • Adjusting or repairing articles carried in stock.
  • Determines methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space.
  • Moves or transports material or supplies to other work areas.
  • Good regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Other various duties as needed or as assigned
Education and Experience:
  • Must be an active military member looking to transition out of service.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Basic computer proficiency and functional knowledge with applications for data entry
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
