redbox+ Dumpsters of Birmingham provides efficient and innovative waste management solutions for residential and commercial projects. Known for its unique dumpster rentals with attached portable restrooms, redbox+ offers 20-yard and 30-yard combination units as well as standard 10-yard and 30-yard dumpsters. With a focus on simplifying cleanup for construction sites, renovations, and large cleanouts, the company is dedicated to delivering reliable service, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction across the Birmingham, AL area.

Role Description

This is a full-time (40-55 hrs./week), on-site position plus overtime when necessary for a CDL B Truck Driver located in Birmingham, AL. The CDL B Truck Driver will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation, delivery, and pickup of dumpsters to residential and commercial project sites. Additional responsibilities include ensuring the cleanliness and proper condition of equipment, completing pre- and post-trip inspections, securing loads, and maintaining an exceptional level of customer service during all interactions.

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Valid CDL B license with a clean driving record and prior experience operating commercial vehicles
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and ability to perform vehicle inspections
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting and maneuvering heavy materials
  • Familiarity with Birmingham, AL and surrounding areas is a plus
  • Basic mechanical knowledge is an advantage
  • 2 years minimum CDL Clas B driving experience to include Air Brake endorsement
  • Roll-off Dumpster Experience a plus
  • Birmingham Metro area territory
  • Offer 401K
  • New 2026 Kenworth Automatic Transmission trucks
  • No DUI Violations or serious tickets in the past 5 years
  • Reliability and willingness to work overtime and weekends as necessary.

Duties

  • Deliver Roll-Off/Portable Toilet Combination Containers to customer jobsites safely
  • Provide excellent customer service to customers and homeowners
  • Speak with customers and homeowners to ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain relationships with project managers
  • Perform Safety Pre-Trip inspections according to DOT guidelines
  • Log Driver Hours as required by DOT guidelines
  • Empty containers at disposal sites
  • Clean/Service portable toilets
  • Tarp containers during transports
  • Empty Wastewater Tank at disposal sites
