We are seeking an experienced Embedded FPGA Engineer to develop mission-critical embedded computing systems for aerospace, defense, and high-reliability platforms. The successful candidate will architect, implement, integrate, and verify FPGA-based digital systems tightly coupled with embedded software, high-speed interfaces, and avionics communications. This role requires ownership of technical solutions from concept through production and close collaboration with electrical, software, systems, and verification engineers. RESPONSIBILITIES * Architect mission computing systems * Partition hardware/software * Define FPGA frameworks * Own verification strategies * Lead integration labs * Mentor engineers * Influence technology roadmap * Resolve critical technical issues * Thinks like a systems architect rather than an individual contributor * Makes technical decisions that balance performance, reliability, maintainability, cost, and schedule * Solves ambiguous engineering problems with sound technical judgment * Mentors and develops engineers through technical leadership and example * Builds consensus while confidently driving technical direction * Challenges assumptions and continuously improves engineering processes and architectures * Understands the operational and mission impact of engineering decisions * Maintains exceptionally high standards for design quality, verification, and documentation * Earns the trust of peers through technical expertise, integrity, and consistent execution * Takes ownership of mission successโ€”not just assigned tasks KEY QUALIFICATIONS Clearance: Ability to obtain Secret Clearance Years of Experience and Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
