What We're Looking For

Responsibilities
  • Apply knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes.
  • Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, specifications, and blueprints.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and communicate technical information effectively.
  • Follow industry safety standards, practices, and procedures.
  • Monitor workmanship to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Complete assigned tasks independently with minimal supervision.
  • Assist with project documentation, schedules, reports, and correspondence as needed.
  • Measure, cut, bend, and thread conduit and electrical raceways.
  • Pull wire and install electrical systems using proper tools and techniques.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Work collaboratively with foremen, journeymen, and project teams.
Qualifications
  • Current Utah Apprentice Electrician License (required).
  • Currently enrolled in an electrical apprenticeship program or completion of four years of electrical schooling/apprenticeship training.
  • Commercial and/or industrial electrical experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of electrical theory, installation practices, and code requirements.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at varying heights.
  • Ability to crouch, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and job site environments.
