The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As an Application Engineer in Dental Solutions, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and experience and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
  • Driving growth through customer collaboration, new product development, and technical support of commercialized products
  • Leading customer insight collection with dental professionals via surveys, interviews, and focus panels to define user needs for medical device design control input
  • Ensuring new product usability fits the dental workflow and generate usability and design validation documentation for medical device regulatory registrations
  • Substantiating claims using statistical analysis of customer feedback
  • Generating customer-facing technical content and educational content for customers and sales teams

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
  • DDS or DMD degree with minimum 2 years experience

OR
  • Dental assistant or Hygienist certificate with minimum 5 years experience

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
  • Advanced degree in dentistry
  • Experience in collecting clinical insights, data analysis, presentation skills.
  • Skills including statistical analysis, working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, word, etc.
  • Experience in a public, government or military environment
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams, build alignment among stakeholders, and drive decisions to successful completion.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal, to collaborate with global teams.

Work location:
  • Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Eagan Solventum Site at least 2 days per week)

This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
